Product Director (Risk & Governance)

Salary : £80,000 to £92,000 + bonus + exceptional benefits (civil service pension) + Hybrid (Stratford, London)

Our client, a global online non-for-profit organisation that is committed to improving the lives of millions is hiring a critical position for a Product Director to ensure governance, compliance, efficient and ethical delivery of their diverse digital & non digital products.

To be successful, you must have experience leading a multinational cross functional team, experience of product compliance & governance (Ofqual, UKVI, safeguarding, AI ethics, EDI) and strong capabilities in Agile & Waterfall methodologies.

Role & Responsibilities

Lead cross‑functional delivery teams to achieve customer‑centric outcomes.

Define and implement product delivery strategy aligned with business goals.

Establish governance standards and ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks.

Drive agile methodologies and continuous improvement across product teams.

Manage stakeholder relationships and vendor performance.

Oversee financial planning, cost control, and ROI measurement for product delivery.

Integrate cybersecurity, data protection, and ethical standards into delivery processes.

Essential Skills and Experience
  • Industry experience within a large digital online organisation (preferably Ed-Tech, Non for Profit or Government but not essential)
  • Strong experience in Product governance & compliance (Ofqual, UKVI, safeguarding, AI ethics, EDI)
  • Experience within integrating cybersecurity and data protection standards.
  • Proven experience in product delivery and governance, with strong knowledge of agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum).
  • Expertise in budget management, vendor management, and ROI analysis.
