Role Overview
As a Business Analyst, you will act as the bridge between Product, Engineering and business stakeholders. You will capture, analyse, and document business and technical requirements, support prioritisation of the product roadmap, and ensure that solutions are delivered to meet enterprise customer needs. You will contribute to strategy, discovery, and execution, helping the organisation to deliver high-value outcomes for enterprise clients.
Key Responsibilities
Requirements & Analysis
- Engage with stakeholders and internal teams to gather, validate, and document functional and non-functional requirements.
- Translate business needs into detailed product specifications, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
Product & Roadmap Support
- Partner closely with the VP Product to ensure requirements are prioritised according to business value, feasibility, and strategic fit.
- Support backlog management, sprint planning, and ensure clarity of scope for Engineering and UX teams.
- Maintain traceability between requirements, designs, and delivered functionality.
Enterprise Market Nuances
- Understand the needs of enterprise customers: multi-stakeholder requirements, complex workflows, integrations with legacy systems, compliance, and data governance.
- Ensure product specifications address enterprise‑scale concerns such as scalability, performance, security, and configurable workflows.
- Support pre‑sales and post‑sales teams with business process and product insights, ensuring alignment between customer expectations and product capabilities.
Collaboration & Communication
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, product, and technical teams.
- Prepare clear, concise documentation and communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Facilitate workshops, requirement review sessions, and demos with stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, in a SaaS or enterprise software environment or scale up organisation where you have input to the whole product not an element of it.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to translate complex business needs into actionable product requirements.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, including backlog management and user story creation.
- Familiarity with enterprise SaaS concepts: multi‑tenant architecture, integrations, security, compliance, scalability.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills.
Nice-to-Have / Differentiators
- Experience in enterprise sales or working closely with enterprise clients.
- Knowledge of data governance, regulatory or compliance standards.
- Familiarity with enterprise SaaS or financial services including banks, asset managers, large multi‑national financial institutions.
- Familiarity or experience working in or with financial services.
- Familiarity with AI/ML use cases in enterprise SaaS products.
- Prior experience in product discovery, UX research, or product innovation projects.
