Responsibilities
  • Proactively coordinate and collate NEC4 contract scope document inputs from other specialists within the Client team.
  • Author sections of NEC4 contract scope documentation in support of procurement events.
  • Peer review of contract scope documentation prepared by others.
  • Review of supplier tender proposals against issued scope documentation.
  • Chair team meetings to support development of scope documentation.
  • Capture LfE from previous procurement events, both within Programme and elsewhere in the project.
  • Input into Programme procurement pipeline to ensure activities are undertaken in a timely manner to support delivery activities.
  • Manage internal and external stakeholder engagement across the Programme and the external supply chain.
  • Coordinate and manage requirements to ensure scope alignment with programme objectives.
  • Ensure all activities are compliant with governance and procurement frameworks.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a related role with regular involvement in contract management – either pre- or post-contract stages. This experience could be gained from project management, technical or commercial roles.
  • Experience preparing or implementing a range of forms of NEC4 contracts, with strong knowledge of how Scope packages are constructed.
  • Proven stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate and align multidisciplinary inputs across engineering, commercial and project controls functions.
  • Experience in requirements coordination and management, ensuring alignment with programme objectives and contract deliverables.
  • Knowledge of procurement strategies and their application within complex project environments.
  • Confident communicator in both written and face‑to‑face environments. Comfortable working both within a team and autonomously as required.
  • Detail orientated, with concise and articulate manner to ensure scope information is portrayed in an effective manner.
  • Organised approach to ensure deadlines are established, monitored and achieved across the full team contributing to the scope documents.
Nice to have
  • Experience of working in a Nuclear regulated environment (or similar regulated industry).
  • Conversant with CEMAR contract management software.
  • Exposure to programme development and planning processes within a regulated or defence environment.
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary interfaces and ensuring integration across technical and commercial domains.

You’ll work closely with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to develop contract scope documentation and support procurement activities within a highly regulated environment.
