A regional authority is seeking a Procurement Officer to drive value in spending across public services in Sheffield. Please note that SYMCA follows a structured salary grading system for all roles, and the offered salary for each post will be at the starting point within the specified grade. As a Procurement Officer, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering high-impact procurements that support transport, housing, skills, and economic development across Barnsley, Doncaster, Rotherham, and Sheffield.
We are seeking a number of proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Officers to support the delivery of high-impact procurement activity across the organisation. This includes high profile projects and activity across Bus Franchising, Light Rail, (Supertram) and other key spend areas.
The roles are key to ensuring that our procurement function and practices are efficient, compliant, and aligned with our strategic goals — helping us deliver best value for money across a diverse range of goods and services.
