A leading retail and financial services company is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager (interim) to manage end-to-end procurement projects. The successful candidate will create procurement policies, analyse spend data, and lead negotiations with suppliers. This is a hybrid role in Greater London, with a day rate of £400-500, ideal for those who thrive in fast-paced environments and can handle stakeholder management at all levels.

Sea Global are delighted to be partnering with a leading business who have over 200 stores across the UK and are looking to add a Procurement Manager to support their next stage of growth.

The role is a newly created position within the business, so they are looking to recruit an experienced procurement professionally, ideally who has experience of working in a fast paced environment, where there will be an element of creating policies, managing end-to-end procurement projects, analysing spend data and leading negotiations.

As this is a newly created role, the CFO is ideally looking for a hands‑on procurement professional who has end‑to‑end procurement experience and can hit the ground running.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end procurement projects, vendor management, and supplier relationship management
  • Create and implement procurement policy and process, in line with company objectives
  • Analyse spend data, work closely with finance and other internal teams in order to make improvements and identify areas of savings
  • Oversee procurement risk management and lead on commercial negotiations
  • Lead RFPs, contract negotiation and work closely with suppliers
Experience & Requirements
  • Ideally will have experience working in a similar end-to-end procurement role
  • Experience within both commercial negotiations and stakeholder management is essential for this role
  • Will have experience working in a complex fast-paced organisation
  • Needs to be comfortable working with stakeholders at all levels and feel confident negotiating
