A leading energy services provider in Edinburgh seeks a Procurement Manager to optimize financial value and visibility for Procurement practices. The successful candidate will oversee procurement operations, manage supplier relationships, and drive compliance with industry standards. Ideal applicants will possess experience in procurement management, strong negotiation skills, and a CIPS accreditation, with a commitment to sustainability. Equans is looking for a Procurement Manager to join our team on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role, on offer is a competitive salary, company vehicle and benefits package.
The expectation of a Procurement Manager's role is to maximise delivered financial value and enhance visibility and perception of Procurement within Equans P&C. This is measured by successfully and smoothly implementing new Supplier/subcontractor contracts and delivering ongoing value and savings in line with the Procurement Policy & Strategy. The role requires establishing excellent working relationships with multiple contracts across many sites, becoming a trusted advisor to these contracts and the conduit (Business Partner) between them and the wider Procurement team.
