Summer-Browning Associates is currently supporting our defence client, who is seeking a Procurement Manager for an initial 3-month assignment with the option to extend.

Location : Hybrid working - Flintshire

About the Role

You will be responsible for determining the appropriate commercial strategy for project requirements. Drafting the strategy plans, commercial management plans and facilitating / delivering it or making recommendations for action to Senior Leadership, ensuring all contracts adhere to procurement regulations and Government policy.

Skills and Experience
  • Experience in managing the end-to-end procurement process from pre sourcing to contract management.
  • Experience working within the public sector with public sector regulations (e.g. PCR 2015, UCR 2016, PA 2023)
  • Experience in stakeholder and supplier engagement and building positive working relationships.
  • Knowledge of ERP Systems (E.g. SAP or Oracle)
  • MCIPS / CIPS (Desirable)
