A leading civil engineering business in the United Kingdom is seeking a motivated Procurement Apprentice to join its Commercial & Procurement team. This apprenticeship provides an excellent opportunity to develop a career in procurement while working towards a Level 3 qualification. Responsibilities include assisting with purchase orders and liaising with suppliers. The company offers a supportive environment with opportunities for progression to higher-level certifications or permanent roles.
Location: Head Office based Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
Contract: Full-time, Apprenticeship
Salary: Apprenticeship rate (dependent on age/experience)
Joseph Gallagher Limited is a leading civil engineering and construction business delivering complex projects across the UK and internationally. As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a Procurement Apprentice to join our Commercial & Procurement team.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop a career in procurement while working towards a Level 3 Procurement and Supply Assistant Apprenticeship.
You will be enrolled on the Level 3 Procurement and Supply Assistant Apprenticeship, a nationally recognised qualification aligned with the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS). The programme develops core skills in purchasing, supplier management, contract support, and ethical procurement.
As a Procurement Apprentice, you will support the procurement function in sourcing materials, plant, services, and subcontractors essential to delivering civil engineering projects. You'll work closely with commercial teams, site managers, and suppliers, gaining hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced environment.
We're looking for someone interested in commercial, procurement, or supply chain careers, with a strong willingness to learn.
No prior procurement experience is required - just the right attitude and commitment.
