About the Firm

Our client is a growing and well-respected law firm based in Newton Abbot, known for providing personalised, high-quality legal services. As their Private Client department continues to expand, they are seeking someone to join their supportive and friendly team.

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a Private Client Solicitor / Legal Executive at any stage of their career. The firm welcomes applications from a varied level of experience in Private Client work. You will manage a varied caseload and play a key role in developing strong relationships with clients and the wider community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing a caseload of Private Client matters, including Wills, Probate, LPAs, Estate Administration, and Trusts
  • Providing clear, empathetic, and professional advice to clients
  • Conducting client meetings and handling matters from instruction to completion
  • Liaising with third parties such as financial advisers, executors, and beneficiaries
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and firm policies
  • Contributing to the continued growth and reputation of the department
About You
  • Experienced in Private Client work (any level considered)
  • Strong client care skills with a compassionate and approachable manner
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities
  • Ability to manage files independently or with support depending on experience
  • A team player who is motivated to contribute to a growing practice
