A leading law firm is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary/Administrator to join its busy Corporate team based in a friendly central Brighton office. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive professional who thrives in a fast‑paced legal environment.

The Role

You will provide high-level secretarial and administrative support to a senior Partner in Brighton, while also assisting the wider fee‑earning team in London. Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing monthly billing and financial administration
  • General file management and document preparation
  • Audio typing and drafting correspondence
  • Supporting case management processes
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Previous experience as a legal secretary, ideally within corporate or commercial law (other legal areas considered)
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of business priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Fast, accurate typing skills, including audio typing
  • Experience with legal billing and case management systems
  • Excellent administrative and time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication
