Prison Law Solicitor – Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervise and support a team of prison law fee earners and consultants, ensuring compliance with contractual, regulatory, and quality standards.
2. Conduct regular file reviews and performance evaluations to maintain professional excellence.
3. Manage a personal caseload of complex prison law matters, including parole reviews, adjudications, recalls, and categorisation issues.
4. Provide guidance, training, and mentoring to team members.
5. Ensure exceptional client care and service delivery.
6. Assist with audits, legal aid compliance, and reporting requirements.
7. Support business development and team strategy.
8. Oversee billing processes, including CRM18 cases, or help transition billing responsibilities internally.
