Your Role and Responsibilities In this role, you\'ll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact. Work model: field based

  • Deliver after-sales support on behalf of ABB, from remote technical assistance to onsite servicing of Distributed Control Systems (DCS)
  • Perform breakdown recovery, planned preventative maintenance, fault finding, configuration, and modification
  • Provide expert-level application support via phone, remote link or in person
  • Fulfil maintenance contract obligations and promote ABB\'s maintenance services and solutions
  • Prepare and deliver training, feasibility studies, lifecycle audits, and system reports
  • Support ABB\'s commercial efforts through service promotion and sales lead identification
  • Be available for out-of-hours support and ad hoc site visits (UK-based, with occasional international travel)
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and ABB\'s Code of Conduct
Qualifications
  • BSc in Engineering or equivalent working experience
  • Strong understanding of Operational Technology (OT) systems and architecture
  • Hands-on experience in diagnostics, repair, and field servicing of OT systems
  • Proven commercial awareness and communication skills
  • In-depth knowledge of at least one Distributed Control System (DCS)
  • Thorough understanding of process control and typical industry applications
  • Self-motivated, flexible and team-oriented with excellent written and spoken English
