A leading consultancy firm in the UK seeks a Principal Health & Safety CDM Consultant to join their External Health & Safety Team. The role, based in Birmingham or Manchester, focuses on managing health and safety projects, advising on compliance, and conducting site inspections. Candidates should have a higher education qualification in a related field and ideally be working towards chartered membership. Sweco Building Standards offers clients a class‑leading regulatory & consultancy Building Standards service that is specifically coordinated to meet the responsibilities being imposed through the Building Safety Act and BCAR processes.

We are currently looking for a talented and motivated Principal Health & Safety CDM Consultant to join our External Health & Safety Team.
This role can be worked flexibly from our Birmingham or Manchester offices, with at least 3 days per week either in the office or on site and the remaining days at home. Flex your start and finish times.
As a technically competent Health and Safety / CDM Professional, you will deliver a wide range of consultancy services:
There is also an opportunity to widen your building compliance skills by working closely with our Building Safety duty holder support team who provide advisory services to duty holders under the Building Safety Act.
You will also be supporting the Operations Director with developing / enhancing the technical skills of consultants in the team by sharing your experiences and technical knowledge.
