Qualifications

Job description

NRL have exciting opportunities for Principal EC&I Engineers with one of our leading clients, Tenet Consultants Ltd. They are an innovative multi‑discipline engineering and design consultancy, with headquarters in Warrington. Tenet have now opened up a new office in Anglesey, North Wales and are seeking to engage local personnel or people willing to relocate to join their team.

As an Engineering Design Consultancy, Tenet provide niche design and technical services to a variety of industry sectors primarily nuclear. Their EC&I design activities include, but are not limited to:

  • Concept & Front End Engineering Design (FEED) Studies
  • Electrical Distribution Systems
  • E&I Building Services
  • Programmable Electronic Systems (PES)
  • Process Control Systems
  • Fire Alarm Design & Integration
  • Normal & Emergency Lighting
  • Cameras and security
  • Alarm systems
  • Asset Care
  • Functional Safety
What You Will Need:
  • Experience working within a highly regulated industry, preferably Nuclear.
  • HNC minimum, ideally degree qualified and a Chartered Engineer.
  • Able to lead teams and develop younger engineers.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to provide technical oversight.
  • Design in accordance with the IET 18th edition (BS7671).
  • Conversant with existing CAE tools (e.g. Auto CAD, CAESAR, PDMS etc.).
  • Fluent in MS Office suite of programmes (Word, Excel etc.).
  • All candidates must have the ability to obtain BPSS as a minimum.
