Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking an experienced Principal EC&I Engineer for a hybrid role in Reading. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in the building services industry, particularly within the Nuclear sector, and must hold relevant clearances. Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design tools is essential. This role offers competitive pay ranging from £55 to £60 per hour.

Qualifications

• 10+ years experience as an EC&I Engineer in building services.
• 5+ years experience in the Nuclear industry.
• Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, AMTECH, Dialux, Relux.

Overview

Principal EC&I Engineer — Reading – Hybrid – 3 days a week in office
£55-60 per hour

Responsibilities

• Provide EC&I engineering input during design and development in a building services context.
• Review supplier documentation for Safety, Security and Building Management Systems (e.g. alarms, CCTV, access control, ventilation monitoring).
• Support commissioning phase through documentation reviews and technical input.

Qualifications

• 10-15+ years\' experience working as an EC&I Engineer
• 5+ years working within the Nuclear industry
• Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or similar
• Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, AMTECH, Dialux, Relux
• Experience in the review of supplier documentation for Safety, Security, and Building Management Systems (e.g. alarms, CCTV, access control, ventilation monitoring).
• This is a role within the Nuclear industry so you will be required to hold BPSS or SC clearance to start this position. The ideal candidate will need to hold a UK passport.
• The ideal candidate will already hold SC or DV clearance.
