Supply Teacher for Primary Schools in Purley, Croydon and surrounding areas!

Location: Purley, Croydon

Start date: ASAP, September or October 2025

Travel: Public transport or driving, but must be local to Purley / South Croydon

Start time: 8:30am arrival

We are looking for experienced and passionate Primary Trained Teachers across Croydon who are happy to support one form entry up to four form entry Primary Schools across South Croydon with absence cover.

We are specifically looking for local supply teachers happy to cover in primary schools in Purley, Caterham and Coulsdon, due to increasing demand in the area!

What to expect as a Supply Teacher

• Deliver lessons based on the absent teacher's plans - or create your own if necessary - to ensure continuity of students\' learning.
• Supervise and engage students during lessons, breaks, lunch, detention, and other school routines.
• Manage classroom behaviour, enforce expectations, and uphold the school's behaviour policies.
• Take registers, attend assemblies, and undertake other day-to-day duties of the permanent teacher.
• Ensure a safe, secure learning environment and follow school safety protocols (e.g., fire drills, safeguarding).
