A children's charity in Newcastle is seeking a passionate Teacher for KS1 & KS2. The ideal candidate will have QTS and experience working with SEN pupils. Responsibilities include delivering high-quality teaching, managing classroom dynamics, and collaborating with specialists to support student needs. Talbot House Children’s Charity are looking to recruit a passionate and experienced Teacher for KS1 & KS2.
The applicant must hold QTS, with completed ECT induction (NQT). We are unable to consider any further Early Career Teachers with incomplete inductions at this time. The applicant must have excellent knowledge of the curriculum, classroom management skills and high expectations for all pupils to achieve their potential. The suitable applicant must have experience of working with SEN pupils with complex needs, including SEMH, ASD, ADHD, Trauma and attachment, some of whom may have multiple needs. We are a non-maintained specialist school with pupils ranging from Reception 1 to Key Stage 4. Class sizes are rarely bigger than 6 pupils.
