A recruitment agency is seeking a QTS qualified Primary Teacher for a long-term position in an Alternative Provision School in St Albans. Candidates will support students with social, emotional, and mental health needs in a small class setting. No prior experience in alternative provision is necessary as training will be provided. This role offers a competitive salary based on MPS/UPS pay scales.

Qualifications

  • QTS qualified Teacher, ECTs considered.
  • Experience in early years, KS1, and KS2 is relevant.
  • Commitment to training and development.

Responsibilities

Primary Teacher - Alternative Provision

QTS Primary Teacher required

Primary Support Base located in St Albans

Immediate start - MPS/UPS ( 170 to 260 per day)

Long term to permanent role - Small class of just 8 - No experience in Alternative Provision required!

Do you hold QTS as a Primary Teacher but are aching to do something different like supporting children with behavioural issues?

Would you like to work in an Alternative Provision school that can support children on an individual basis?

Primary Teacher (QTS holder) with strong classroom / behaviour management.

Passion for supporting students with SEMH

This exceptional School located in St Albans, Hertfordshire offers young students who are struggling in mainstream settings the opportunity to learn in a new, smaller school environment where they can be supported on an individual basis with an education plan that meets their needs. The school is well-run and has obtained a Good - Outstanding Ofsted based on the work it is doing in all areas of these young learner\'s lives.

They\'re currently looking to appoint a new Primary Teacher who they will support and develop into an exceptional AP Teacher - no prior experience needed.

Role requirements
  • QTS qualified Teacher (ECT\'s considered and can be supported for induction).
  • Early years, KS1 and KS2 experience is all relevant to the role.
  • Desire to act as part of a fully committed AP Team.
  • Paid on parity with MPS/UPS - planning and assessment will be required (but for very small class sizes).
  • Essential that the incoming teacher is committed to training and development.
