Key Stage 1 & 2 Supply Teacher – Doncaster

January Start Date

Are you looking to join our network of passionate KS1 & KS2 Supply Teachers in Doncaster and make a real difference in young learners’ lives? You’ll gain valuable experience across a variety of South Yorkshire primary schools while delivering lessons that are engaging, well-structured, and supportive, ensuring a positive and productive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver creative, engaging, and well-structured lessons in line with the KS1/KS2 curriculum.
• Create a positive, inclusive learning environment where every child feels supported and valued.
• Differentiate teaching to support a wide range of learning needs, ensuring all pupils make progress.
• Maintain strong classroom management and promote positive behaviour.
• Work collaboratively with school staff and engage with parents and carers when required.
• Follow school policies and ensure the smooth running of the classroom in the absence of the class teacher.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching within KS1 and/or KS2.
• Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and the ability to deliver engaging lessons.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A nurturing, child‑centred approach with a genuine passion for supporting young learners.
• Flexible, resilient, and able to adapt quickly to different school environments.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply).
