Overview

Tradewind Recruitment are working in partnership with a group of specialist SEN schools in North East Lincolnshire, seeking dedicated and adaptable Primary Teachers to support children with Autism, Learning Disabilities, and Complex Needs.

This rewarding role is ideal for teachers who are passionate about inclusive education and thrive in nurturing, supportive environments. You\'ll play a key part in helping every child achieve their full potential through engaging, differentiated teaching and a caring approach.

Responsibilities
  • Delivering engaging, pre-planned lessons tailored to students\' individual learning needs.

  • Creating a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and growth.

  • Adapting teaching methods to support a range of communication, sensory, and behavioural needs.

  • Promoting emotional wellbeing, independence, and confidence in every learner.

  • Working collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and school staff to ensure consistent support.

Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or HLTA qualification.

  • Experience teaching or supporting children with SEND, particularly Autism and Complex Needs.

  • A nurturing, patient, and flexible approach to teaching.

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

  • Right to work in the UK and satisfactory references.
