Overview

Job Title: Supply Primary Teacher.

Location: Manchester area.

Salary: £600 - £800 per week (long terms paid to scale).

The Role

Vision for Education are looking for Primary Teachers in Manchester to join on a supply basis, covering daily supply bookings or short term cover across multiple Primary Schools we work with around different boroughs in the area. This cover will be across year groups in EYFS, KS1 or KS2. Whether you're looking to find your feet in teaching or enhance the skills you've already developed we can support you through your teaching journey.

We get frequent requests for Primary Teachers to cover in schools around the area and many go into long-term or permanent roles if the particular school is looking for one. We are also currently working with schools for immediate start or after October half term for ECTs looking for their first placement in a Primary School. We also offer permanent vacancies as requested by the school.

Key Responsibilities
  • Be able to cover year groups across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 where required showing flexibility.
  • Show professionalism when working with various Teaching and support staff around the schools you go to.
  • Adapt to many different environments and schools teaching children all academic subjects at the request of a school.
Requirements
  • Hold a QTS and/or PGCE with QTS qualification.
  • Have previous experience working within EYFS, KS1 or KS2 classes.
  • Have strong team-working and communication skills to work efficiently and effectively with a wider team in new environments.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
