Primary Music Teacher – Hayes

Start Date: September 2025
Location: Hayes, London Borough of Hillingdon
Salary: £150 - 250 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-time | Term-time only

Responsibilities
  • Planning and delivering inspiring music lessons across KS1 and KS2
  • Introducing pupils to a wide range of musical styles, instruments, and techniques
  • Organising and leading performances, assemblies, and school events
  • Supporting pupils of all abilities to develop confidence and creativity
  • Working collaboratively with staff to integrate music into the wider curriculum
  • Promoting positive behaviour and maintaining a safe, inclusive classroom environment
Requirements
  • A degree or recognised qualification in Music (QTS desirable but not essential)
  • Previous experience teaching or leading music sessions with primary-aged pupils
  • Strong classroom management and the ability to inspire enthusiasm for music
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and teamwork skills
  • A proactive, creative, and passionate approach to teaching
