Primary Music Teacher - Hayes

Location: Hayes, London Borough of Hillingdon
Salary: (Apply online only) per day (dependent on experience)

About the Role

As the school's Music Teacher, you will take the lead in delivering engaging and creative music lessons across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. You\'ll nurture pupils\' musical abilities, encourage performance and participation, and help embed a love of music throughout the school community.

Primary Music Teacher Responsibilities

• Planning and delivering inspiring music lessons across KS1 and KS2
• Introducing pupils to a wide range of musical styles, instruments, and techniques
• Organising and leading performances, assemblies, and school events
• Supporting pupils of all abilities to develop confidence and creativity
• Working collaboratively with staff to integrate music into the wider curriculum
• Promoting positive behaviour and maintaining a safe, inclusive classroom environment

Primary Music Teacher Requirements

• A degree or recognised qualification in Music (QTS desirable but not essential)
• Previous experience teaching or leading music sessions with primary-aged pupils
• Strong classroom management and the ability to inspire enthusiasm for music
• Excellent communication, organisation, and teamwork skills
• A proactive, creative, and passionate approach to teaching
