Job summary

A primary care network in Banbury is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to join their team. This fixed-term role covers maternity leave, starting in March 2026. The successful applicant will work collaboratively with the GP leads, undertake structured medication reviews, and contribute to medication management to ensure high-quality care. Ideal candidates will possess a pharmacist qualification and experience in community or hospital settings.

Qualifications

• The applicant will be a prescriber or working towards prescriber status.
• Experience in community and/or hospital pharmacy is valued.
• Must demonstrate enthusiasm, initiative, and patient focus.

Responsibilities

• Work with GP leads to implement prescribing policies.
• Undertake structured medication reviews and discuss issues with patients.
• Monitor ongoing prescribing issues and suggest alternatives.
