Job description
Overview

Excel Technical Consulting are currently seeking a Press Brake Operator for an exciting opportunity based in the south of the UK on behalf of a well-known aerospace production client to support their operations through the efficient setup and use of press brake machinery to form and shape sheet metal components, following engineering drawings and customer specifications. You will be working as part of their productions team and, once trained, will be offered the chance to gain experience on alternate equipment to assist during periods of high demand.

Responsibilities
  • Production of sheet details, according to customer drawings and tooling
  • Use of Amada press brakes
  • Working on a tight timescale within a team or as an individual
  • Constant maintenance for your own equipment to reduce equipment degradation
Salary & Schedule

In alignment with the clients\' expectations, they are offering an annual salary between £35k-£38k for candidates that hold suitable experience as well as knowledge of operating and setting up of CNC press brakes. Overall, you will be working Monday to Friday for an expected 40-45 hours per week within a skilled and welcoming environment.
