Job summary

A leading global media organization is seeking an experienced Scheduler to join its Network Origination Services team in London. The role focuses on optimizing broadcast schedules for Sports and Entertainment channels. Candidates should have proven experience in on-air scheduling and a strong understanding of the broadcast chain. This is a hybrid position with an initial contract of 6 months, starting as soon as possible.

Overview

A leading global media and entertainment organisation is seeking an experienced Scheduler to join its Network Origination Services team. This role focuses on break optimisation and presentation scheduling across a portfolio of Sports and Entertainment channels in the UK, Nordics, and wider EMEA. This is a contract role starting asap and running for an initial 6 months. It is a hybrid role, so candidates must be based in London.

Responsibilities
  • Build and manage mid-term and daily programme schedules.
  • Optimise commercial airtime and live sports breaks.
  • Ensure on-air look and branding consistency.
  • Support live sport broadcasts, including contingency planning.
  • React quickly to schedule changes and ensure reliable broadcast delivery.
What we're looking for
  • Proven experience in on-air/commercial scheduling (not entry-level).
  • Knowledge of scheduling systems (e.g. What\'s On).
  • Strong understanding of the broadcast chain and relevant regulations (OfCom, BLM, CSA).
  • Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure; knowledge of sports/live broadcasting is a plus.
