is on the search for a Prep Chef to join our amazing team.

Who are we?

Yard Sale Pizza fired up the oven in 2014, starting with weekly supper clubs from our backyard in Hackney. We now offer delivery, dine-in and takeaway in 15 of our favourite neighbourhoods. Known for our collaborations, we’ve teamed up with illustrators, musicians, international chefs & local eateries- all on the quest for the perfect pie!

We’ve won London’s most-loved restaurant in Time Out’s 2016 Love London awards, were awarded Best Cheap Eats in the Observer Food Monthly Awards in 2017, and were voted London’s favourite pizza in Time Out’s inaugural Clash of the Slices in 2022.

What will I be doing?

• Working in a small team, dealing with all areas of prep and cooking.
• Daily kitchen cleaning and maintenance (including washing up and deep cleaning.)
• Preparing orders ready to be sent out and distributed to all shops to support their service.
• Opening the shop and receiving deliveries.
• Learning the YSP recipes and preparing the ingredients and dips in batches
• Ensuring all prep is ready on time to send to all of the Yard Sale Pizza shops
• Stock management and control using commercial kitchen methods.

What are we looking for?

• Someone with previous experience working in a commercial kitchen, dealing with high volumes of prep, managing stock and orders.
• Someone with excellent organisation skills and able to work autonomously.
• Able to maintain a clean and tidy working environment at all times
• Someone with level 2 food safety and hygiene
• It would be advantageous if you have previous knowledge of risk assessments in commercial kitchens.
