Job description

Premises Manager Scale SO1 Spine 23 - 25: (£38,256 - £39,276) 36 hours per week x 52 weeks per annum (including occasional weekend working) The Premises Manager will lead a team of premises assistants, cleaning and security staff in maintaining the school's capital stock, infrastructure and equipment to provide a learning environment that is safe and fit for purpose at all times. She/he will manage and monitor the work of external contractors. Applicants must have a minimum of Level 2 English and Maths plus a Level 3 or equivalent qualification in a premises related area. Experience of working within the education sector is desirable.

  • Ability to demonstrate good administrative and organisational skills
  • A competent level of IT expertise in a range of packages to support compliance and audits.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and accurately in writing and orally with a variety of audiences
  • Management skills including supervision of a team, prioritizing, delegation, target setting, forward planning and monitoring
  • Ability to multi-task whilst maintaining attention to detail
