Job description

Main Purpose of Role:

Reporting to the Area Sales Manager, you will deliver a high-quality reproduction and breeding service, providing expert advice and assisting customers in meeting reproductive objectives and developing the Precision service. Internal Precision Training will also be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Detecting heats and inseminating cows.
  • Recording observations, inseminations, and providing vet and attention lists for customers.
  • Utilising chalk and electronic heat and health monitoring systems to identify cows in heat.
  • Building effective relationships with customers to meet their breeding requirements.
  • Managing customer fertility data and herd reports.
  • Utilising Cogent's heat detection and herd management systems for accurate artificial insemination.
  • Preparing reports and providing detailed action plans to customers and Team Leaders.
  • Collaborating with industry professionals such as Veterinarians and Nutritionists.
  • Having dairy experience and good animal husbandry knowledge, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers.
  • AI Qualified.
  • Maintaining a professional and friendly attitude with excellent communication skills.
  • Being highly organised, diligent, self-motivated, and resilient to challenges.
  • Possessing a can-do attitude and being a proven team player committed to delivering high-quality service.
  • Holding a full UK driving licence.
