A healthcare facility in London is offering a preceptorship programme for newly qualified nurses and nursing associates. Participants will develop their professional skills with experienced guidance. The programme includes practical assessments and classroom-based training, designed to enhance confidence and autonomy in clinical practice.
Preceptorship programme for newly qualified nurses and nurse associates. It supports them as they develop confidence as autonomous professionals, refining skills, values and behaviours while working with experienced professionals within the Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability (RHN).
The programme complies with the Capital Nurse Pan London Preceptorship Framework (2017) and Health Education England (HEE) preceptorship standards. RHN is a care provider for vulnerable patients at extreme risk; safeguarding patients is our highest priority.
Preceptorship is delivered through classroom-based face-to-face sessions, combined with practical experience and assessment in clinical areas and some eLearning modules. The preceptee will have paid protected and supernumerary time to complete the programme successfully.
