Practitioner Psychologist

We are seeking a Clinical Psychologist or other accredited psychological professional as a key provider of evidence-based psychological assessment and interventions for parents, infants and staff on the neonatal units at Epsom and St Helier Hospital.
The role will include providing highly specialist psychological assessment and intervention with families within the neonatal unit and paediatric inpatients, offering advice and consultation on psychological aspects of care to other health professionals and supporting clinical team members. The postholder will work autonomously, within recognised professional guidelines as part of the teams. The post holder will be expected to utilise their knowledge of evidence based psychological interventions and research skills to implement audit, research and service development projects. The postholder will also be involved in the training and continuing professional development of clinical psychologists and other health professionals. The postholder will be part of the wider Paediatric Psychology Service and the Trust Clinical health psychology provision.
Please note that 0.45 of this post is dedicated to NNU at St Helier Hospital and the remaining 0.35FTE are to support an inpatient service at both QMCH and Epsom Hospital.
