A friendly medical practice in Sunderland is looking for an enthusiastic nurse to join their team. The role involves managing chronic diseases, mentoring staff, and ensuring effective patient care. Candidates with previous practice nurse experience are preferred, but those without experience will also be considered. This part-time position offers £38,032 to £45,965 annually, pro rata depending on experience.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and forward-thinking nurse to join our current friendly nursing team. We are a small practice of around five and a half thousand patients, striving to provide excellent standards.
We would really like someone with previous practice nurse experience although candidates without experience would still be considered.

To be responsible for the implementation of processes for the effective management of patients with long-term conditions using evidence-based practice including care for elderly and housebound patients.
Working as a senior member of the practice multidisciplinary team, the post holder will ensure nursing services are delivered effectively to the entitled patient population.
The Practice Nurse will be responsible for a number of clinical areas such as health promotion, chronic disease management, and mentoring other members of staff. Actively supporting the practice management team in the reviewing and delivery of clinical policy and procedure.
Whitburn Surgery will ensure that the post holder has access to appropriate clinical supervision and an appropriate named individual in the organisation to provide general advice and support on a day-to-day basis.
