Keighley Road Surgery is a well-established,patient-focused GP practice with a list size of approximately 10,500 patients.We are looking to recruit an experienced Practice Nurse to join our friendlyand supportive clinical team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivatedand enthusiastic nurse with previous experience of working in a generalpractice setting. The ideal candidate will be confident in delivering a widerange of practice nursing services and demonstrate a proactive approach topatient care.

Main duties of the job
  • Chronic disease management (e.g., diabetes, asthma, COPD)
  • Cervical cytology
  • Childhood and adult immunisations
  • Wound care and dressings
  • Contraceptive advice
  • NHS Health Checks and screening
  • Health promotion and lifestyle advice
  • Infection prevention and control
  • Supporting the practice in meeting QOF, IIF, and other quality targets
  • Depending on experience, we will encourage you to support training and development for nurses and health care assistants within the Practice.
