Overview

Thaxted Surgery has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced practice nurse to join our team on a part‑time basis for 24 hours a week. Exact days are negotiable and dependent on the right candidate but will include a 6pm finish on a Thursday afternoon. As a key member of our practice, you will be able to treat patients in your own clinic along with the support of our team of GPs, ANP and ACP, practice nurses, health care assistants, and dispensary and administration teams. We would love to hear from you if you are an experienced practice nurse looking for an exciting new challenge or a secondary care nurse looking to make the switch into primary care. Thaxted Surgery is an EMIS Web dispensing practice in a historic market town. We work out of our own purpose‑built modern premises and have a supportive and friendly team of clinical and administrative staff. All staff work hard to deliver excellent patient‑focused care and services. We are very proactive not only in caring for our own practice population but also within the wider primary care network. We work as a GP training practice, host medical students and are consistent high achievers in QOF. Thaxted Surgery has consistently performed well in the national GP surveys, this year coming top for Herts and West Essex. Our list size is 9000+ and growing every month.
