Job description

Peacock Surgery has a fantastic opportunity for a practice nurse to join our team on a part-time basis for approximately 30 hours per week. Our surgery works over 2 sites, Stansted and Elsenham but this role will predominantly be based at our Elsenham branch.

Our nursing team consists of 4 practice nurses, 2 nursing associates, 2 healthcare assistants and 3 phlebotomists.

Main duties of the job
  • Chronic disease management
  • Childhood and adult immunisations
  • Cervical cytology
  • Wound care (e.g. leg ulcers and compression)
  • Health promotion and patient education
  • Support with QOF and clinical audits
