Overview

The shift pattern for this post is: 5 days from Monday - Friday 08:30 - 16:30.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced registered nurse to join our PDN Team within Glasgow City HSCP and hosted services. If you care passionately about the quality of care and have an improvement focus, with drive and determination, then this is the job for you!

Practice Development Nurses have a key role in supporting community nursing staff to deliver best practice and evidence based clinical nursing interventions. They will deliver training on clinical issues, support community nurses where deficits/poor practice is identified to ensure staff are delivering patient centred care, Practice Development Nurses support Service Managers and Nurse Team Leads in the delivery of outcomes related to service redesign, policy/guideline development and delivering training.

You should have experience of nursing audit, quality standards with ability to lead and support change that leads to better patient/service user outcomes. Please note this is an agile working post with a team based within Rowanpark Business Park.

This post will focus on Older Peoples Services, including District Nursing, Treatment Rooms, Specialist Nursing, Community Rehabilitation Services, Phlebotomy, Community Respiratory and others.
