The PR Strategy Lead drives the day-to-day strategic direction for high-profile client accounts, translating business challenges into insight-led, culturally relevant strategies that deliver measurable brand and performance outcomes.
This role sits at the intersection of insight and imagination, combining strong brand positioning expertise with hands‑on campaign planning. You'll work closely across PR, social, influencer, SEO, and creative teams to develop integrated strategies rooted in audience understanding and data‑driven creativity.
As PR Strategy Lead, you will define, lead, and co‑create PR approaches for clients. This role calls for a strategic visionary who can execute as well as ideate‑someone who understands how PR drives brand visibility, credibility, and discoverability. You'll develop award‑worthy strategies for key accounts, contribute to thought leadership, support growth initiatives, and elevate team thinking through mentorship and innovation. The role requires fluency across digital, product, and experiential/creative PR.
Reporting into senior PR leadership, you'll take brand challenges and translate them into sharp positioning, clear audience insights, and actionable campaign plans. You'll shape strategy through insight and positioning, while also turning it into campaigns and content‑leading planning, concepting, managing, and producing work that brings ideas to life.
Lead the day‑to‑day strategic direction for Tier 1 client accounts, ensuring alignment with business objectives and brand positioning
Translate complex business challenges into clear, actionable campaign strategies and creative briefs
Conduct brand, competitor, and audience analysis to inform positioning and campaign thinking
Contribute to thought leadership initiatives focused on creativity, brand relevance, and the future of brand discoverability
Support the evolution of the PR practice by identifying service gaps, driving innovation, and helping bring new offerings to market
Partner with PR, SEO, social, influencer, and creative teams to build fully integrated campaign strategies
Provide strategic guidance throughout campaign development, reviewing concepts to ensure consistency with brand positioning and objectives
Act as a trusted strategic advisor for senior clients, ensuring initiatives align with broader business goals
Develop and deliver award‑winning PR strategies
Lead strategic storytelling in reviews and strategy sessions, translating performance data into compelling narratives
Serve as the strategic voice in client meetings and presentations, bringing clarity and structure to complex marketing challenges
Support growth efforts by developing strategic approaches for pitch decks and presenting to prospective clients
Identify cross‑channel expansion opportunities and collaborate on proposal development
Deliver at least one significant strategic evolution or campaign pivot per quarter, driven by insight and performance data
Identify and implement emerging tools, technologies, and tactics that elevate client outcomes
Mentor team members and raise the overall standard of strategic thinking and execution
Build personal and organizational credibility by representing the business as a PR authority
Contribute to industry conversations through speaking engagements, case studies, editorial content, webinars, and client events
Comfortable owning strategic vision while remaining hands‑on with research, data, and positioning work
Naturally collaborative, with a strong understanding of how brand and performance connect to drive ROI
Significant experience across brand communications, PR, and digital marketing
Proven track record leading integrated communications that deliver cultural impact and commercial results
