Power BI Specialist - Contract
Central London (2 days per week on-site)
£375-£400 per day | Outside IR35

We Are Dcoded are supporting a payments business in central London with a key Power BI contract requirement. This role will play a crucial part in supporting fraud and regulatory reporting, ensuring the business has accurate and actionable insights.

The Role

You'll be joining a data team responsible for producing high-quality reporting across claims and fraud data. The focus will be on building and enhancing reporting capability within Power BI, including paginated reports, and working with stakeholders to deliver compliant and business-critical insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain fraud and regulatory reports in Power BI.
• Produce paginated reports using Power BI Report Builder.
• Augment and optimise existing data models, often integrating additional Excel-based data.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective reporting solutions.
• Potential involvement in ETL processes within Microsoft Fabric.

Requirements

• Proven experience with Power BI dashboarding and reporting.
• Strong skills in Power BI Report Builder for paginated reports.
• Hands-on experience with data modelling and transformation.
• Ability to work with and combine data from multiple sources (Excel, SQL, etc.).
• Familiarity with ETL processes (ideally Fabric) a bonus.
• Strong communication skills to liaise with both technical and non-technical teams.
