Power Platform Solution Architect
Location: London – Hybrid (2 days onsite per week)
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect with deep expertise in the Microsoft Power Platform to design and oversee the delivery of enterprise-grade automation solutions. This role requires a strong blend of technical design, architectural vision, and governance expertise to ensure that solutions are secure, scalable, and seamlessly integrated with existing systems. The Solution Architect will play a pivotal role in defining standards, guiding project teams, and ensuring business value through innovative use of the Power Platform and related Microsoft technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Define solution architecture and integration approaches, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards.
- Work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into secure and scalable technical solutions.
- Establish and enforce best practices, governance, and security standards across Power Platform projects.
- Partner with developers and technical leads to guide solution implementation and ensure adherence to architectural principles.
- Evaluate and recommend integration patterns with Azure services, enterprise applications, and external systems.
- Provide architectural oversight during solution design, development, and deployment, ensuring long-term maintainability.
- Stay up to date with Microsoft’s Power Platform and Azure innovations, advising on their adoption to maximize business value.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in designing and delivering end-to-end automation solutions.
- Proven ability to define architecture, integration patterns, and technical standards.
- Expertise in ensuring security, compliance, and scalability within automation projects.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills to articulate architecture decisions.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment (2 days per week onsite in London).
Nice to Have
- Hands-on knowledge of Power Platform architecture (Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse, AI Builder, Copilot Studio).
- Familiarity with RPA (Robotic Process Automation) approaches.
- Experience with Azure services (Logic Apps, API Management, Functions, Service Bus) for advanced integration.
- Understanding of enterprise integration patterns and API design.
- Knowledge of security, governance, and compliance frameworks for low-code platforms.
- Background in defining Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) or governance models.
