Power Platform Business Process Specialist
We welcome applications from forward-thinking digital specialists to join our newly established Process Automation and Improvement Team - driving smarter, more efficient ways of working across the University.
Working within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, the postholder will be responsible for managing and supporting the use of Power Platform and related technologies. This includes identifying opportunities for process improvement, gathering and analysing requirements, building Power Platform solutions and supporting the effective use of digital tools across the university.
You will play a key role in delivering innovative solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI and integrations with systems such as Dynamics 365, SharePoint Online, and other non-Microsoft applications.
You will collaborate with stakeholders, IT colleagues, and third-party suppliers to ensure solutions deliver maximum value. Alongside delivering complex projects directly, you will train and support others to lead smaller-scale process improvement initiatives - building expertise across the university.
You are a technically skilled and solutions-focused professional with a strong foundation in IT and a commitment to continuous professional development. With hands-on experience in the Microsoft Power Platform - particularly Power Apps and Power Automate - you bring an understanding of low-code development, systems integration, and process automation.
You’ll have experience of analysing business processes, gathering user requirements, and delivering impactful digital solutions that improve efficiency and user experience. Your knowledge of agile methodologies, project delivery frameworks, and inclusive design principles enables you to work effectively across cross-functional teams and adapt to evolving priorities.
Your collaborative mindset, excellent communication skills, and ability to mentor others make you a trusted partner in driving change. Whether working independently or supporting others, you are passionate about using technology to solve problems, streamline operations, and build capability across the organisation.
