Qualifications

• Experience in production, fabrication, or powder coating.
• Strong attention to detail, spot issues quickly.
• Must be physically fit for lifting and standing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare metal parts for powder coating including cleaning and masking.
• Load and unload parts into booths and ovens.
• Inspect finished parts and rework as necessary.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Provide general labor and production support as needed.

Powder Coater - Paint Line Operative - Romiley (Stockport)

We're on the hunt for a Paint Line Operative to join a cracking manufacturing business in Romiley. This isn't a "stand and stare at a machine" job — it's hands-on, varied and ideal for someone who takes pride in producing quality work.

Pay

• £13.25 per hour as a temp
• Permanent salary £13.50-£14.00 per hour (based on experience)

What you'll be doing

• Prepping metal parts for powder coating (cleaning, masking, hanging)
• Loading / unloading parts into booths and ovens
• Inspecting finished parts and helping rework any that need attention
• Keeping the area clean, safe and organised
• General labouring and production support where needed

What we're looking for

• Experience in production / fabrication / powder coating
• Strong attention to detail — if something looks wrong, you'll spot it
• Physically fit (there's lifting and being on your feet all day)
• Can handle a fast-paced environment without complaining to HR every 5 minutes
• Team player, good communicator, willing to learn
• Driving licence preferred
