Job summary

A reputable delivery service provider is seeking a Postal / Parcel Delivery Driver for the Stafford Delivery Office. This role requires a full UK driving licence and offers up to 40 hours of work per week, starting at £13.37 per hour. Responsibilities include sorting, loading deliveries, and delivering parcels by foot or vehicle. The ideal candidate should have strong customer service skills and be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence with a maximum of 6 points.
• Experience in delivery or driving preferred but not essential.
• Excellent time management and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Sort and load deliveries at the local delivery office.
• Use a handheld device for signature capture and route navigation.
• Deliver letters and parcels, walking up to 8 miles per day.
• Lift and carry mail bags up to 16kg and parcels up to 20kg.

Schedule :

Monday to Friday & weekends - 1 : 30pm-7 : 30pm

Overtime :

Available with enhanced pay rates for unsocial hours

🔑 Key Responsibilities :

• Start your shift at the local delivery office to sort and load your deliveries.
• Use a handheld device for signature capture and route navigation.
• Deliver letters and parcels by foot and / or vehicle – walking up to 8 miles per day.
• Lift and carry mail bags (up to 16kg) and parcels (up to 20kg).
• Use delivery trolleys when required.

✅ Requirements :

• Full UK manual driving licence (maximum 6 points; clean licence preferred).
• Previous delivery or driving experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Excellent time management and customer service skills.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
