What skills and experience we're looking for

We have a vacancy for a confident, enthusiastic and suitably qualified Administration Officer in our Post 16 Team. This is an exciting opportunity for a strongly motivated person with experience of working with a broad spectrum of young people, to play an important, varied role in this successful and ambitious School. The successful candidate will be required to provide a full administrative service to the Post 16 Team, including being the first point of contact for students and external enquiries by telephone, email and in person for Post 16 matters, updating of manual and computerised records, assisting with the organisation of School trips and events and the preparation and distribution of resources to support departmental staff.

Applicants must have a good working knowledge of the whole suite of Microsoft Office software and be comfortable using Word and Excel extensively. We use SIMS as our main management information software and whilst familiarity with this piece of software is not essential the successful candidate must be able to learn quickly as they will use this central source of management information on a daily basis.
