Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner
We support people to understand their diagnosis and how this may impact on their life and the lives of those around them. Our residential services provide accommodation and support for autistic adults 52 weeks a year, 24 hours a day in urban and rural settings. We also provide supported living services for autistic adults who need extra help to live in their own homes or within our accommodation, whether as tenants or owner occupiers, living alone, or with others.
We have come a long way but there is still so much to do to increase opportunities, reduce social isolation and build a brighter future for people on the spectrum. With your help, we can make it happen.

We are looking for a Part-Time Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner (PBS) to join our Positive Behaviour Support Team which provides support and advice to NAS Adult Services in the Randalstown Autism Centre.
This is a Part-Time/Permanent position working 17.5 Hours Per Week. The Salary for this role is £13,628 - £16,468 per annum.
The successful candidate will support us in providing a consistent person centred approach in the delivery of high quality services to a wide range of autistic individuals based on the Positive Behaviour Support competency framework.
You will support us in providing a consistent person centred approach in the delivery of high quality services to a wide range of individuals on the autistic spectrum using the principles of positive behaviour support.
You will have experience of working with autistic people, working with people with a wide range of needs, helping people to overcome distressed behaviours and enabling individuals to overcome barriers in learning and achievement.
If you have an interest in supporting people to improve their quality of life, knowledge and experience of Positive Behaviour Support as well as proven experience of working with autistic people then we would like to hear from you.
