An educational institution in the UK is seeking a dedicated Positive Behaviour Practitioner to support and improve student behaviour standards. The role involves working closely with students with challenging behaviours and requires strong negotiation skills. Salary: £25,618 pa, pro rata (Grade 2B). 37 hours per week, 38 weeks per year, Term Time Only (0.86 FTE).

We are looking for an inspirational and dedicated individual to support, influence and improve behaviour standards of our students throughout the organisation. The successful candidate will have a proactive and visible presence on campus, challenging unsafe behaviours and educating learners so they can make better choices to support their learning whilst at the College.
You will have significant experience of working young people with behaviours that are challenging at times and dealing with sensitive and confidential matters.
The successful candidate will be a strong team player with an organised, positive attitude to work, with the ability to demonstrate negotiating and influencing skills.

This position will involve occasional contact with students under the age of 18 within an educational establishment. Although most duties do not fall within the definition of regulated activity, this post is deemed to involve regulated activity with children. As such, the post‑holder will be required to undergo an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, including a check of the Children’s Barred List, in line with the statutory guidance Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE).
