Job description

Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is seeking a Portfolio Operations Financial Analyst IV within its Solutions Group to unify financial and operational data into a single source of truth, standardize and drive forecasting, run the division cadence with KPIs and OKRs, and instill operational excellence across Product, Professional Services and Innovation. This highly visible role sits at the intersection of Sales Operations and margin. You will play a critical role in producing the monthly operational forecast for the portfolio, keeping pipeline and forecast aligned, enforcing Salesforce hygiene, building program reporting and partnering with business operations to translate cost to serve into clear gross margin insights and turn data into choices on growth, pricing and investment.

Responsibilities
  • Produce the monthly operational forecast for the portfolio in partnership with Strategic Finance, Sales, Customer Success and Biz Ops.
  • Maintain forecast integrity by analyzing pipeline variance to forecast and documenting business reasons in a clear change log.
  • Develop a full understanding of monthly forecast drivers, document them with definitions and owners and keep the driver library current.
  • Conduct forecast scenario modeling to assess planning and contingencies.
  • Enforce Salesforce hygiene and stage discipline with stakeholders ensuring required fields, stage definitions and handoffs are followed.
  • Build and maintain program reporting in Tableau that tells the story of performance trends, risks and opportunities for leadership reviews.
  • Partner with Biz Ops to map cost to serve and surface gross margin by offering and division, highlighting levers to improve mix and utilization.
  • Identify and drive process improvements including the creation of standard and ad‑hoc reports, tools and increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools.
  • Lead regular cadences for pipeline change reviews, actuals vs forecast reviews and preparation for monthly/quarterly/annual business planning.
  • Maintain tight documentation of processes, SOPs, metric definitions and change logs so the operating cadence is clear and auditable.
Requirements and Areas of Expertise
  • 5 Years with a Bachelors degree in Business, MBA is a plus.
  • Operational Analytics: pipeline health and lifecycle, velocity, deal quality, segmentation, cost‑to‑serve patterns, Customer Lifetime Value, ROI.
  • Financial acumen: revenue mechanics, bookings vs billings, cost to serve, gross margin, unit economics, budgeting and variance basics.
  • Excel modeling: driver‑based models, structured workbook design, scenario and sensitivity worksheets, Power Query for refresh and joins, comfort connecting tables and using relationships, strong use of named ranges and dynamic arrays, robust checks for data integrity.
  • Tableau: calculated fields, table calculations, parameters, actions, performance tuning and clear storytelling that highlights the right metrics, trends and decision points.
  • Salesforce: pipeline flows and stage design, field governance and required‑field design, hands‑on data stewardship and partnering with Sales to optimize process and hygiene.
  • Data fundamentals: metric definitions, lineage and change control, basic SQL, data quality practices.
  • Communication and influence: concise executive‑ready writing and visuals; ability to drive alignment and compliance across Sales, CS, Product, Engineering and Finance.
  • 3 to 5 years in Sales Ops, RevOps, FP&A or similar.
Nice to have
  • Programming for automation in Excel or pipelines such as VBA or Python.
  • Workflow automation or lightweight modeling experience.
