The Role…

As our Portfolio and Partnership Manager in for Good Housekeeping and the Homes portfolio, you will play an integral part in delivering the Brand Plans for Hearst UK’s biggest brands. Working with a high degree of entrepreneurialism and autonomy, you will support the PD/MD to source, negotiate and manage longlasting brand partnerships that both enhance member experience and deliver commercial revenue. You will be a lynchpin between editorial, customer and commercial teams, and play a crucial role in ensuring continued growth momentum of the GH/Homes portfolio.

Main Duties…

  • Travel partnerships owner: take full end-to-end ownership of planning, securing and delivering commercial relationships in the travel category to hit agreed revenue KPIs.
  • Negotiate profitable partnerships that deliver member experiences that align with and amplify the brand plan. E.g. Travelbag, Ragdale Hall, The Pig, English Heritage / RHS, ensuring compliant and compelling communications and propositions, with timely partner payment and accurate budgeting / reporting / forecasting. Brand partnerships:
  • Work in tandem with the PD/MD, commercial and editorial teams to proactively identify and cultivate new profitable revenue opportunities with partner companies to hit agreed KPIs. - You will generate ideas, in collaboration with editorial and the PD/MD, and deliver reader offers, experiences and activations that amplify the brand value and impact of key initiatives such as House Beautiful Awards, GH VIP, the CL Artisan Collective and Pavillions. - You will take full accountability for appropriate contracting, invoicing and execution of the partnerships you secure. This will require leading and aligning multiple internal teams and external stakeholders to achieve what we set out to deliver, end to end.
  • Strategic Planning and Collaboration: Assist PD/MD in the creation of business plans, project management, pitch collateral, product launches and special projects to ensure stakeholders in brands and across teams are equipped with information to enable them to maximise upsell and cross promotion opportunities, with the goal to drive revenue.
  • Partner Outreach and Engagement: Pro-actively build and maintain your own new relationships with key industry contacts, identifying new revenue opportunities, and fostering strategic relationships, promotions and event activations – ensuring you keep all relevant Hearst stakeholders in the loop at all times.
  • Brand content management: Take ownership of creating, updating, and disseminating relevant insights, brand plans, media packs, and other collateral to support external representation of the vertical and brands. Ensure accessibility and usability of these resources for internal teams.
  • Financial Planning and Budgeting: Support with the preparation of annual budgets and business plans in collaboration with senior leadership. Support in budget management by brand, ensuring profitability and cost-effective sales strategies. · To be an ambassador of Hearst UK and its values. · You may be required to undertake such further duties as your skills, qualifications and experience allow and/or as may be assigned to you from time to time.

What We Are Looking For…

  • Experience in business administration, marketing or a similar field, preferably within the media or lifestyle industry (essential)
  • Some experience of event management and delivery would be very useful (desirable)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market trends and consumer insights (essential)
  • Great communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders (essential).
  • Demonstrable experience of sales development strategies and revenue generation. (essential)
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. (essential)
