This full-time role involves escorting luggage for departing and returning guests, ensuring excellent customer service throughout the process. Candidates should have a positive attitude and be physically fit, with necessary identification and security training qualifications. The position offers a pay rate of £12.21 per hour and requires in-person work predominantly at the airport.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role preferred.
• A current and valid ID/passport/Visa is mandatory.
• Proof of NI Number (NI Card, P45 or P60) required.

Responsibilities

• Escort luggage from departure forecourt to the check-in desk.
• Meet guests and take luggage from the carousel to transport.

Experience: Preferred

Travel: Travel between each terminal will be required

Main Porter’s Duties & Responsibilities

• Meet party on departure forecourt and escort luggage to the check-in desk
• On return journey, meet the party by the carousel and take luggage to a point of transport or a waiting relative.

Required Characteristics

• Good Positive Attitude
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy loads
• Excellent customer service skills
• A current and valid ID/passport/Visa
• Proof of NI Number (NI Card, P45 or P60)
• A 5-year checkable employment/education history
• No unspent criminal convictions
