Job description
Overview

We are looking to hire a Porter to work full-time 37.5 hours per week over a 24 hour 7 day week within the Portering Service at Salford Care Organisation. You will also be required to be flexible in your working pattern as you may be required to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out the full range of portering duties, which may include driving vehicles on site, transfer of patients around the site by wheelchair, trolley or bed (including deceased patients) and all associated mortuary duties.
  • Transfer medical notes and medical supplies around the hospital site to various wards and departments.
  • Work on waste duties with the waste team.
