A well-known advocacy organization in Northern Ireland is seeking a Policy & Campaigns Assistant to support their work on LGBTQIA rights. The ideal candidate will assist with organizing events and campaigns while addressing policy issues in political assemblies. Strong communication skills and an understanding of community issues are essential. The position allows for flexible working hours with a maximum of 25 hours per week.
THE EMPLOYER IS: THE RAINBOW PROJECTThe Rainbow Project is seeking an administrative assistant to support our policy and campaigns work. The Policy & Campaigns Assistant would work closely with the wider Policy, Campaigns & Communications team, supporting The Rainbow Project's work to progress the rights of LGBTQIA plus people in Northern Ireland.The Policy & Campaigns Assistant will help organise events, meetings, and conferences focused on progressing The Rainbow Project's policy and campaigns, while supporting the PCC Manager to keep track of relevant issues raised in the NI Assembly and Westminster. The Assistant will conduct other administrative tasks as required, including data collection and logging as well as supporting our Communications Coordinator with social media management.
